After reading a friend's blog about allowing her kids to cook, I decided to give some of my kiddos a chance to cook too. Elijah was the first one to give it a try, I let him make corn muffins from a box mix. He had a great time and required minimal supervision since he can read! They turned out really good and he was soooo proud of himself!
Since Elijah's try at cooking was so successfull I decided to let Emmaline have a turn next. She did not have the patience level that Elijah did but she did great at helping me with making tortillas for dinner. I forgot to take a picture of her, she looked so cute in a little apron and chef's hat! She too was sooo proud of how "her" dinner turned out!
