Snack Time!  Micah and Jeremiah had a blast playing with our animal cracker snack! Some days we get around to a morning snack and this was one of those days.  The kids love it when I have time to put together a snack!

Organizing on a dime!  This is all my makeup and hair things, organized in one of my dresser drawers with repurposed containers of varying sorts.  Not fabulous to look at but very functional and VERY cheap!

Mark was home from work Thursday and Friday because he was suffering from a bad case of the flu, Yuck!   He spent most of the days laying right here on the couch…

Tummy Time!  This didn’t last long as he has figured out how to roll from his tummy onto his back, yay!

Elijah is in 3rd grade this year and will be tested at the end of the year to make sure he has learned everything he’s supposed to.  I bought a special book and he has been practicing taking tests.  Here, he’s working on an english test which is his hardest subject.

Malachi is the subject of my picture for today.  I LOVE those big eyes!  He was just hanging out in our bed after keeping us up most of the night.  He looks a lot more awake than either Mark or I was, ha!

Here is my picture for the day.  My camera takes poor night time shots, hence the off coloring, this was about 5 p.m. and all our blinds were already shut.   The kids were working together on schoolwork, and were so intent on what they were doing that they didn’t even notice I was taking a picture! 

Project 365

A friend of mine has started doing something called a project 365 this year, she will be taking a picture everyday and posting it to a flicker account.  The goal behind it is to become a better photographer.  She even joined a group online of people doing the same thing.  I know myself and my schedule and making that kind of commitment would be nearly impossible.  However, I love the idea of having a picture taken everyday and at the end of the year having an album of pictures showing our daily life.  So, I am going to try and start my own album without signing up for the support group.  Then if it gets to be too much I can just drop the whole idea without feeling guilty or like I’m letting anyone down.  I will try and add one picture for each day(not necessarily added individually though, more likely all at once, once a week or so) although they may not get posted here.  I will also be posting them to my FB account. 



This is the picture I choose for my first one.  I took all kinds of pictures, from piles of laundry to kids on the computer to Mark holding Malachi but I loved this picture.  It shows Micah’s quirky temperament and silliness.  :)  I know it’s not a great picture but I loved it all the same.
